Members kevinace Posted November 15, 2010 Members Posted November 15, 2010 If you're interested in a few other good, free sites...I highly recommend: Justin GuitarGuitar Noise Of course you can always find some decent video lessons on YouTube but tread carefully because there's a lot of garbage out there. If you're interested in trying the premium / paid route for higher quality lessons, check the link in my signature. Best of luck!
Members Stan31 Posted November 17, 2010 Members Posted November 17, 2010 Start out with Guitar Principles - THEN go to Justin Sandercoe, Guitar Noise or JamPlay - these are all fine resources to teach you WHAT to play and which scales and chords to learn... Guitar Principles will teach you HOW to play the instrument, how to develop your hands, how to pick a string correctly (both pick and fingerstyle) - and how to get the most value out of all the other fine materials mentioned in this thread!
Members Steadfastly Posted November 17, 2010 Members Posted November 17, 2010 We also have started a decent collection of videos here on this forum. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2692942
