Members jeremy_green Posted December 30, 2010 Members Posted December 30, 2010 You are correct sir! Great article.
Members BydoEmpire Posted December 31, 2010 Members Posted December 31, 2010 Good timing - I've been going through that the last couple days and it's great. I love the Ex 2 piece.
Members BydoEmpire Posted January 6, 2011 Members Posted January 6, 2011 Here's my attempt at the piece in the lesson. I always practiced on electric, so when I recorded on acoustic I found it a little tougher (I very, very rarely play acoustic these days)! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rase1mBbfkw One other cool thing about this lesson is that I've been working a new instrumental where I liked the A section chord progression, but it needed something more. I added a second guitar using these wider maj/min 3rd intervals over the chords with a slightly different rhythm than the main chords and it sounds beautiful - just what the song needed. That's what I like about these random magazine and internet lessons - you never know when you might need that little nugget of knowledge.
