Members polishpaul Posted February 20, 2011 Members Posted February 20, 2011 Awesome find..........thanks for sharing!I'm going to join today. I'll just have to sleep less to find time to go through the course .A few words about the classical guitar.......it's a great instrument. I have a steel-string acoustic and an electric, but I find it almost impossible to stop picking up only the classical. I don't think this is because it's "easier", more that it's great fun exploring the range of sounds and effects I can produce. I'm not confined to playing classical pieces....I hardly ever try (so the course should be interesting), but I do incorporate some classical finger techniques. Once you get the feel of the strings, you can make this instrument sing or cry. The tone is warm and rich, and not ideal for jangly strumming. But nerve-grating sounds can be produced if you want them.

Members junkyard bennie Posted February 20, 2011 Members Posted February 20, 2011 cool find! I just got done listening to your soundclick nice playing there
Members Cary Chilton Posted February 20, 2011 Members Posted February 20, 2011 I just got done listening to your soundclicknice playing there THanks, most of it is just noodling save for DEE, and the VH tunes I doubled with guitar amp sim program (DI'd guitar) and reverb added in afterwards. The VH didn't come out great, but considering they were indeed recorded after being up all night, learned for 15 to 20 minutes straight before I recorded each song and the latency I had to deal with, .. I am happy. Of course with my Marshall, mic'd well, played along with cans, zero latency, and recording take after take for the perfect performance, it would be MUCH better, but why would anyone care??? haha
Members jimdunk Posted February 20, 2011 Members Posted February 20, 2011 Excellent. Let me add my thanks.
