Members polishpaul Posted April 24, 2011 Members Posted April 24, 2011 This video is the first of six covering Sweet Georgia Brown, Django-style, from Rob Bourassa. He throws in LOTS of playing elements....trills, chromatic runs, hammers, pulls, bends, snappy strumming............. Rob kind of pushes the student by referring to notes by their functions in the chords.......flat third, fifth, flat seventh etc, instead of talking about As and Ds and so on. One caption tells you not to use a note until you understand its function, and I think this is the way to teach. This video series represents pretty much how I want to play, so I'm gonna nail this no matter what: [video=youtube;m5MZzCTc-yY]
