Mark Wein Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I figured that since we were having Junior Watson in our studio this Saturday for a live (and free) webcast clinic that I would have Tom Harkenrider share one of the licks he learned from Junior back when he used to study with him.... Members gtrwiz Posted August 31, 2011 Members Posted August 31, 2011 Good stuff! What kind of guitar is that?
Mark Wein Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Good stuff! What kind of guitar is that? It's an H44 Harmony Stratotone copy from Eastwood. Whats funny is that Watson brought an original to webcast: But he is working on a signature guitar with Dan Denham guitars that is actually using the original pickups from Harmony in a new body:

Mark Wein Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 Nice! Hey mark what guitar are you using in the beggining of this? Thanks guys! I'm playing an Ibanez AS73...nothing too special but I dig it....I put 12 gaugue strings on it and it's awesome for the small amount of jazz or jump blues that I do play.

I have that exact guitar and like it too. Did you do any upgrades or is it stock?

It's all stock except for the strings. I'd change the pickups if I were to gig with it I think but I'm a little afraid of doing it myself on a semihollow guitar.
