m13 midi issues

i wasn't sure if this should go in the effects section or this section. I figured since it is midi problems i'm having it's technically more "high tech" than just effects pedals...

So I dug out my old FCB 1010 today determined to set it up for looper controls and possibly get some use out of the expression pedals.

I put them both on the same channel and started programming my 1010. So far, it's failing.

Here's a quick list of my settings on the FCB...

(switch midi functions for the fcb 1010 are;

sw1- program change 1

sw2- program change 2

sw3- program change 3

sw4- program change 4

sw5- program change 5

sw6- control change 1

sw7- control change 2

sw8- exp pedal a

sw9- exp pedal b

sw10/0- note)

Switch #1 i'm using as Record/Overdub controls. In the "channel switching page" of the fcb i have switches 1, 6 and 7 active

1: #-50

6: #-50 Value-34

7: #-50 value 89

Switch one "works" but i have to tap it twice to record/overdub or stop recording/overdubbing

Switches #3, 4, 6 and 7 have the same problem. When i tap them, nothing happens on the m13.

Switch #3 - 1: #-36 (1/2 speed)

Switch #4 - 1: #-85 (reverse)

Switch #6 - 1: #-82 (undo/redo)

Switch #7 - 1: #-80 (play once)

Switches #8(pre/post effects) and #9(looper controls) seem to work perfectly.

I have read and reread the FCB 1010 manual as well as the M13 advanced users manual, but cannot seem to find anything conflicting with what i have done. I put all of the right settings in the right place on the FCB 1010 and it still refuses to be controlled properly. The 1010 is not in direct select mode. I actually had is set up in direct select mode originally to play around with scene changing and it worked just fine.

Can anyone out there help me out a little? I'm not exactly a MIDI genious. I'm 99% sure that it's an ID-10-t error on my behalf, but I'm at the end of the line. I have no more ideas on how to fix it.

I feel i should also mention that the FCB1010 has the 2.5.1 chip upgrade.
