How long did it take for you to get your axe fx ultra in?

I am wanting to purchase an axe fx ultra with the fractal audio site, but the stupid website is showing them out of stock, so HOW LONG do I have to wait until they get one in??

 

I already contacted fractal and asked them this, but have yet to receive a reply.

 

This is VERY frustrating as I can get MOST things I want to purchase instantly.

 

So what exactly is the wait times with fractal on these?

 

And they wonder why ebay has them brand new for a little more?? Go figure!

They're still only a relatively small company and are having trouble keeping up with demand. There are a lot of posts about this kind of thing on the FAS forum, and from memory (although you might want to confirm this with a bit of forum searching) the best time to check the online store is midday or something like that.

 

The reason they go on Ebay for more money is no real puzzle. It's simply supply and demand. If someone really wants one in a hurry for whatever reason, they can go on Ebay and pay a little more to get one. But, FAS only sell direct and through their few distributors. If you want to be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, you'll want to buy through FAS or one of their distributors, depending on where you are in the world.

 

Mine was basically shipped out straight away, but then, I bought mine a while back before the demand shot up.

I bought mine in 2008 and the wait was like 2 days.
