Mooger Fooger MF-102 ticking noise

hi,

 

i use my mooger mainly as a trem, which it does great. but, i heard some ticking noises with the unit. the noise comes especially from the square wave sounds, when i hit, for example, my e-string, then i get some soft ticking noise.

 

it's nothing very loud or so, but i did notice it. is this normal? is this normal for a trem to do?

there's a squelch circuit inside. I think his post was a joke.

yeah, if you read the faq on moog's site, it says that it has a soft noise that is normally covered by the squelch circuit [a blessing and a curse, totally kills sustain unless you have a compressor, but prevents bleed]. you could always cut back on your hot signal for a work-around...
