I bit a huge chunk from the inside of my mouth, and it hurts like hell

So I make a kickass dinner last night for me and the wife. I sit down to eat, but then on like the third bite I accidentally bite down hard on the inside of my right cheek and tear off a huge chunk of flesh from the inside of my mouth. I mean, it really fucking hurt. So I go into the bathroom to have a look, and my mouth is covered with blood. So I get a nice warm glass of saltwater and rinse my mouth for a while, and it stings like a bitch. Finally the bleeding is under control, but my dinner is pretty much ruined.

Why does this shit happen? I mean, I eat the same way all the time, don't I?

Today it still hurts like hell, and even more annoying is that I can still feel that dangling flap of mouth-flesh just sort of hanging there waiting for me to bite it again.

Fuck.

I've done this before, only to find that it happens again a day or two after, since it's swollen and prone to getting chomped.

Yeah, it is best to wait 2 or 3 days before attempting to eat solid food again. This would be a good weekend to binge!
