Members tuco
TS 808-type or Voodoolab Sparkle Drive? I do rock/ Blues only. SRV's sound was , but I am not trying to copy here, just get a good tone with a very clean amp. I know the Sparkle drive has more options, but is it an exact clone of the TS circuit as a read? Any preferences here from Fender amp users?
Members The Great Waldo Pepper
I am a big fan of a gritty booster instead of a TS-X type box infront of my Super Reverb of about the same vintage. Bad Bob is a great choice in this regard. Sagrado Picoso is cool too, but I am biased here.

Members THazy
FD2 + FatBoost (running it at 18 volts) + Keeley TS-9 Mod plus + Menatone Fish Factory. Covers all the bases. Seems like all the pedals work better with my Super if I'm able to turn it up a bit.
Members ginnboonmiller
The VL Sparkle Drive IS a TS type circuit. Just has that blend knob is all. I've always disliked all things tubescreamer, including the Sparkle Drive, but I thought the features and the blend knob were awfully nice. So that might be the way to go for you. For your purposes I would suggest the Blues Pro: or, a Fulltone OCD (listen to the clips at www.fulltone.com, or a Keeley Katana or a Keeley modded Sparkle Drive.
