I've never missed that place ! ! !

Actually, I have a neo-son-in-law who is
a manager at Scarbucks...he makes reasonable money
and their benefits are great for the service industry.

Coffee is good.
Caffeine is better.

Hey, back a few days ago, you posted some pics of
a few of your guitars....was that a real Gibson Firebird,
or a Burny/Matsumoku copy?
I've got a Burny '64 Firebird Five, and its great!

Starbucks?!?? Now you can get fat! Remember Mocha is the only sissy way to go gain the weight. Personally I go next door to this local joint I hate bloated extractive business models. They pour 4 shots of espresso over ice. Ah. Cold, caffinated, unsweetened, undilluted, joy!

Congrats on the new job.

I didn't think you were working AT Starbucks. Just saying Starbucks is about as exciting as McDonalds. However, McDonalds in Tokyo was always exciting when I was growing up. So maybe Starbucks is better over there?

playdabluze,

That's a Harmony H-78 , refinished to show off the flamey maple.

Those guitars are so under-rated.
I just picked up one on ebay that had already had
the neck shaved and refinished....it is incredibly fast!
The one in the avatar has the "wrong" pickups:
Avatar: DeArmond "moustache" goldfoils....a bit more mellow
than the original DeArmond "Maximum" pickups which sound
a bit like a louder, angrier, grittier and brighter Filtertron.
(I've got one with a Max and a Filtertron side-by-side...
the Filtertron almost NEVER gets switched on....never!)

Anyway, it is a cool guitar....thatnks for asking.
