You are going to compete with modelers with build in effects?

No, why should we?
It is much more fun to use your own analouge stuff:D
And the sound is not like a modeler.
Pedals into the amp and then straight into the soundcard.

The clip is cool, but the million $ questions are:

1. what are you running into it (guitar, effects etc...)
2. what is the soundcard
3. what recording program
4. what post effects are applied

I'd like to hear guitar ===>recording amp===>computer
with no effects. Do you have any clips that are more stripped down?

You are selling the amp sim, right? I can't tell what that is from your clip. Currently my recording options for guitar are a PODxt, and a fully mic'ed amp.

Well just my POS onboard soundcard, a N-Force 2 driven one, the chip is some OEM Windbond chip;) So the latency is terrible, fortunally that matters little for clips with a finished backtrack. hehe
The guitar is just my old Kramer Pacer Deluxe, into a two faze phaser, one plexitone and a delayla delay straight into the amp, set on closed cab sim.
Nuendo2 was used for record the stuff.
No post effect what so ever.
I just made this on my normal home pc:D
No idea what it will cost yet, no fancy colours for this one, just black with our usual 80's look;)
Hehe we are not boutique:D

Hmm I guess boutique means lots of fancy colours, true bypass, under 25 units pr day.
Only our new 9v line has any colour to talk of, none of our pedals uses true bypass, we make more than 25 units pr day as well:D
It is handmade stuff though, the looks will stay black for our normal line, but some of the boxes will change in the near future.
We do not want the boutique tag, since we really are not.

Hmmm, I was just posting on another thread my lament of not having a decent direct box to use with my analog effects for recording in my bedroom.

My main question is, can it do feedback at all? Thats the main riddle I've never been able to solve with this type of setup.

Still, sounds great, a lot better than a POD type modeller IMHO. Well done!
