Members superdave82 Posted October 31, 2005 Members Posted October 31, 2005 any tips? im talking about building one from scratch, with wood and probably that skateboard scratch, so they dont slide, is that crazy. its just that all the boards i see are super expensive.
Members Hopeless Romantic Posted October 31, 2005 Members Posted October 31, 2005 I made one out of a cutting board and velcro.
Members Kriegsemann Posted October 31, 2005 Members Posted October 31, 2005 I made my own. Scrap wood and velcro (purchased from the craft section at the local wal mart) Cost me about ten bucks total. Give it a whirl!
Members crisis Posted October 31, 2005 Members Posted October 31, 2005 Plywood and carpet. Attached adhesive velcro to pedals and walla! Except the velcro tends towant to stick to the carpet better than the adhesive sticks to the pedal. Not too much of a problem if you are leaving it all in place though. I am going to have a go at building one out of aluminium plate and angle (my mate can weld it for me) similar to one I have seen advertised. I think the advantage of building your own is that you can have it only as big as it needs be and with all the different types and styles of pedals you can make it customized.
