Anything in the veign of punk rock, alterna-rock, cyber punk, electronica, IDM, electro clash, industrial, etc. etc. ?

I really need something angry and sad and noisy.

Thought I'd start another thread because I messed up by asking "singer songwriter"... I really meant any _edgy_ female fronted bands that aren't just a pretty face (i.e. Garbage, even though I love Garbage).

I'll try to put up some MP3s of my former band tonight. Not that we were amazing or anything, but it was definitely fast and loud punk rock with a woman singing/screaming, if that's what you're looking for.

We used to get booked at "girl band" shows sometimes, and people would be irritated that three of us were male.

I definitely plan on checking it out. I'm all about indie and unknown as much as anything else.

Breeders were good, I don't know if they fit your specs exactly.

Totally in the right direction... but I'm already a big fans of The Breeders and Amps... good call though... I haven't had their albums in quite a while.
