do they make 24 fret acoustic guitars?

It's a defeatist design. By having a longer fretboard, the soundhole is consequently placed closer to the bridge. This, in turn, makes the sound much brighter (not in a good way either--it'll make it sound like a tin can).

This is a bad, bad idea. You don't really need those notes--trust me.

That doesn't work. The placement of the 24th fret on a guitar is 3/4 the way from the neck to the bridge. If the soundhole is to the right of this point, the guitar is just going to sound horrible.

Have you never heard of the Brian May Rhapsody guitars? They all have 24 frets and sound absolutely amazing. Brain May is according to Guitar Magazine’s poll of “Actual Guitar Players” the 2nd best guitar player that ever lived. Now that Eddie Van Halen is dead that would make him the best. And he makes his own guitars and he made the Rhapsody. If you ever get a chance to listen to a carbon fiber guitar that’s built well that will give you an idea of how heavenly they sound check out “The Rainsong” prices at around $3,000 but for good reason.
