Members doomy3 Posted November 19, 2005 Members Posted November 19, 2005 What's the difference between these pedals? Which is better, and which one should I get?

Members Seth Carmody Posted November 20, 2005 Members Posted November 20, 2005 I've never tried a Ph-3 but like the clips of the step function. But it is said to be thin, cold, sterile - the usual digital complaints. I don't recal anyone here really championing them. The Ph-2 I had, it was ho hum really, could never set it up to my tastes, fiddled with the internal trimpot to introduce some more bass into the effect and it developed this annoying 'woofing' when the switch was activated, so a shifted it.

Members Kriegsemann Posted November 20, 2005 Members Posted November 20, 2005 The ph-3 is digital, and SOUNDS digital and screws with your tone in most of it's modes. The step and rise/fall settings are kinda fun, but it doesn't do normal phase shifting all the beautifully. Not sure how the ph-2 compairs .
