I always use non-alkaline...

 

before inserting into pedals, I give them to my kid cousin...he uses them in his remore controlled car for no more than 4.6 mins.

 

during that time, he's not allowed to take more than 10 turns while playing with his car, as I find that running the toy car in straight lines gives a uniform worn-out effect to the battery.

 

then I put them into my dirt pedals and I have...you guessed it:

 

TONE FOR DAYS!

You people use batteries??????????

 

I tried that once and didnt like how they wore down and lost their ability function after a while. And then i had to.....buy more then more. I hate when that happens.

That's when I decided I would only use wall juice.

I haven't looked back since.

 

But I have heard some effects sound better when you sag your wall juice a bit.

I just have never tried it.
