Not a blackberry. It was a Kyocera Smart Phone. Same idea as a blackberry. It wasn't cheap, I think it cost me over $500 canadian when I got it just over a year ago.

Anyway, my wife ran it through the washing machine.

So I'm a bit pissed. It was partly my fault, I never should have left it in my jacket. Wait, I always leave it in my jacket. Ah, but the jacket was dirty and crumpled on the floor. She thought she was doing me a favor.

Anyway, I hate technology. I've become reliant on this palm pilot thing and now I'm without and I think I'm going to puke yo.

Sorry about your Smartphone, Taco.

something like a Sony p900 (or newer eqivalent) should do the phone/palm pilot job for you, not sure if its as good as a dedicated palm pilot or not, but they look decent

they are also working on music phones, i think theres a nokia coming out with a 4gb hard drive, and i kno i just got a sony w800i which does the music part (though only a 512mb card with it [upgradable to 2gb if you want] so i am still carrying the walkman too)

Most PDAs can play mp3s. BUt of course the big thing I think is the harddrive.

I have a PDA, but I honestly never use it.

What do people use them for?

I don't have any "contacts". I don't have appointments. I don't... like, edit spreadsheets on the go or anything. I like video games, music, and porn.

I think this time around I'll go for a separate phone and palm. I've already got my palm stuff backed up on my computer, so when I get a new palm I can just transfer it over.

I want a palm that plays mp3's (without having to spring for the special card). Mine could have done that but I never got around to adding the memory card. {censored} that.

The problem with the smart phone is that it was pretty big. I'd prefer a tiny phone (maybe with a camera) like my wife has. And then just a basic palm or maybe palm with mp3 player, as long as its small and fairly simple to use.
