OT: New mouse recommendations please

I have a wireless optical by Microsoft right now that is a POS (big surprise). I'm looking to get something a bit nicer...I've heard about laser, what do you guys have?

saves desk space. and they kick ass onece you get used to them.

man, i have a logitech mx 1000. totally worth it. laser is amazing. never lags, smooooooooth as anything, plus the programmable buttons work wonders for me to control my music listening without changing windows and stuff.

it also feels really really nice.

Logitech is what I'd go for...I've got 2. One for my desktop, one for my laptop.

+1 for logitech...

 

but as i'm lefthanded my choice is limited, i have a wireless optical, which works pretty fine... drawback all the none righthanded mice come without a chraging station
