But is there any webpage that has specific details of what parameters of each effect can be tweaked?

And how many effects can be useed in any given patch?

I'm pretty sure just one, and I suggest signing on the Line 6 and downloading the user's manual.

Thanks guys, I was able to find and download the user manual.

But just one effect?

With my old Boss SE-70 (and Quadraverb GT before that) I was able to chain together a compressor, distortion, delay, EQ, and reverb and save it as a "patch" or whatever terminology it's called. Can the POD 2.0 do that?

Not with the 2.0, but yes with the XT although you are stuck with only three in a row and compressor pedals count as distortion (trem counts as mod).

Thanks. I've been reading through the Line6 site, so let me see if I've got this right...

The equivalent to what we used to call a "patch" ... on the POD is called a "tone" (a mixture of things saved together)

With the 2.0 you get one amp and one effect per "tone"

Youcould have, say,

Plexi + Phaser,

or Plexi + reverb,

but not Plexi + Phaser + reverb.

Or you could have

Tweed + slapback delay,

Or Tweed + spring reverb,

but not Tweed + slap delay + reverb.

Right?
