what are equally good modulation delay from ~0->200 dollars compared to the deluxe memory man?

i find the dd20 modulated delay to uninspiring and maybe go for a dmm if i don't find something else in that price range. although i loved to get the memory lane please don't mention that too often. makes me sad..

I agree, Ibanez DML, DML10, or DML20... or UD Stomp -- although finding one for under 200 might be pretty tough -- then again you could go with the Magic Stomp which has the UD built in.

I believe the upcoming Marshall Delay has a modulation mode as well, but I'm not sure how it sounds.

Echopark has a modulation mode as well I think.

In addition to those already mentioned -

Digitech PDS 20/20, RDS 3600, RDS 4000, RDS 8000, DigiDelay

Ibanez AD150, AD190, AD202, DM 1100, DML-10, DML-20, PDM-1

Yamaha E1010

Boss RDD-10, RDD-20

Line 6 Echo Park

Marshall Echohead

I'm sure there are other rack units out there that do modulated delay, probably all the multi fx DSP units.

And please do not foget the Peavey DEP-16 multi-in-a-stompbox wonder that I have seen on ebay for $11 BIN.

Massively modulated delay for broken tapedecks, vibrato, trampoline sounds, chorus, flange, and straight up delays and echos. Wonderful! I'd really like to demo it against an Ibanez DML.

Sleeper to end them all!
