Members LPSlinger Posted January 4, 2006 Members Posted January 4, 2006 Mutron C-200 Volume/Wah In my opinion it was the most well designed and best sounding wah. My friend has one and I love it. Having the stomps to turn on the way and volume next to the actual rocker (instead of under the rocker like most wahs) is great. It sounds better than any other wah I've heard too. They go for $300+ on ebay whenever I see them. I think Santana and Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth use them so they have some popularity with their fans.

I'd love to have one in a small box with a single knob, and true bypass. I think MrSage was building one. Done and done. (And done again) I've built 5 or 6 of them so far. I usually house them in Crybaby cases so you can rock them back and forth like the original (like on the intro to U2's "Elevation"), but the circuit would work fine in a smaller box. The U2 fans seem to like them, but most everyone else likes the Univox Superfuzz better.
Members clayton explode Posted January 4, 2006 Members Posted January 4, 2006 lovetone's are always clone worthy. i feel in love with them ten years ago and i couldn't afford them. played them when i was 15. man jaw dropped.

Members Gearhunter Posted November 26, 2006 Members Posted November 26, 2006 How deep did you go to get this thread?Bad blood around here with this thread starter also, must have been his reserch before offering non-existent pedals and scamming people out of dough.
Members NITEFLY182 Posted November 26, 2006 Members Posted November 26, 2006 Oooooh burn. Seriously, the last page of threads doesn't even get close to this thread. And clone a whammy? Are you joking. people dont clone software based digital pedals. Get an eventide and be done with it.
