Enlivening a sterile clean sound

See the compressor in my sig. Tube-driven, plenty of boost available, and studio-quality compression. I used it when I was going through a solid-state amp and needed to warm things up. This is no longer my situation.

[/sPAM... but seriously, I recommend it]

EDIT: An EQ pedal could work well, too.

no - that's not what the RC boost is designed for... it won't sound good

There is no magic pedal to turn solid state into tubes

I played SS for many years...the best clean tones I got was from single coil pickups and other lower output pickups... I installed push/pull pots in all my hotter humbucker guitars to split the coils and reduce the output

The guitar is the most important factor..

The only other option is to cover up your sound with lots of heavy chorus/flange modulation effects...

Pleae don't waste your money on anything else cuz it probably ain't gonna work
