Holy {censored} Keith... I feel so helpless up here in Vancouver, it's not like I can canvass the pawn shops in the area for you. All I can do is say I really feel for you at this point, and hope that you get at least some of that stuff back. Having had a bunch of gear stolen a couple of years ago I know how what it's like. Luckily for me I only lost PA gear, and not some of my precious guitars (to me at least) and amps. Keep the faith and good luck bro. Sending good vibes yur way.

It might actually be helpful if you just post this hear. I know that a lot of people here have experienced stolen gear so it may be of use to everyone.

I pretty much scour the net for vintage gear day in and day out, and I'm sure there are plenty here who do the same. I'm actually jotting the list to stick on my monitor. I know it's probably hard to think right now, but if you can post photos of any identifying marks or custom stuff your gear had it might help. Obviously I'm not saying that it'll help for sure, but you might try posting some similar alerts around on the net too if there are other sites you frequent. I have nightmares about something like that happening to me, and my collection is nowhere near that large or nice. I'm terribly sorry. Just be happy that your son wasn't there when it happened. Also, I'm going to have to agree with the folks that posted before, it sounds like it could have been someone you know. I know that sucks, but it's just incredibly uncanny that someone would leave some of that nice stuff behind. From my admittedly limited point of view it looks like they might have known what they were looking for.

Not to mention that it couldn't have been a hit and run, we're talking about some heavy {censored}. Maybe your kid was talkin' to someone about all the cool {censored} his dad had, and they (or someone who overheard) decided it would be a great idea to hit up that house. Just some ideas, but that kinda {censored} unfortunately happens in schools, more now than before. Good luck.
