Members PeelingPaint98
This is a question for someone of frequent pedal usage, at what draw does it become more efficent to use batteries over a dedicated power supply? Any thing under 10 mA? Does anyone know battery life at different mA ratings? Thanks

Members Hessian
I don't know, but here's a free bump from a fellow Iowan.I just get the Dollar general ones, two for a buck. Cheap batteries for the cheap pedals of a cheap man.

Members Yarmo
It really depends on what type of effect we're talking about. Overdrives and distortions can style retain character even when the batteries are going south. Digital fx are too oltage greedy imo to use batteries. As for a current threshold for batt. or adaptors it depends on what preference you might have. If you can distinguish a tonal difference between a battery and an adaptor on your fx, say a fuzz, it then becomes a matter of personal choice. I'm sorry I can't be of no further help. I know how to drive the car but I am a poor mechanic if you catch my drift. y
