Members llllllllllllllllllllllll
after two weeks or so, my rig will be: Paul Reed Smith Electric Bass >Boss TU-2 >Keeley Compressor/Fulltone Bassdrive (which goes first? compression?) >Mesa Boogie D180 >Ampeg 410 cab also considering a bass wah and a boss ns-2 to make the sound kinda choppy when I want it to be. Members llllllllllllllllllllllll
sorry, should have clarified---I ordered it two or three days ago, and I think it takes about two weeks for them to build it and ship it out. Members ZJD
I'd say try the compressor after the dirt and put a wah after the compressor so your volume doesn't change. Cool Bass rig by the way. I'm looking into putting one together myself and was thinking about picking up the 4-Knober. Let us know how it works out for you. Members wakefyld45
It all depends, I usually run a compressor before my dirt in bass, and I leave it on all the time, but I use it more like a limiter, just so there are no glaring string buzzes if i get a little sloppy, my amp sounds great but really forces you to play correctly. But try it out both ways. cannot hurt.
