As soon as we walked into the main tracking room (which was cool - the studio is an old country church) I spotted the leslie in the corner and decided that I HAD to use it on something, just to say that I did. I ended up playing my McCarty into the Ernie with the sustain turned all the way down and ran that into the Leslie at slow speed and it sounded really goddamn cool. Our engineer said that was the only distortion they'd run into the Leslie that actually sounded good. I'm going to see if I can get a copy of just that track so I can post it. It sounded almost like an organ in the mix. Doesn't quite capture the coolness of hearing it person but it sounds nice anyway. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
