Members Marthoyink
Dangit! I ordered a FAB Flange quite a while ago and when I got it I tried to open the battery compartment (this was after I opened 4 other FAB pedals and put batteries in them), well I didn't think such a thing could happen but the battery compartment wouldn't come off even after I kept on screwing it to the left for a long time, so I called music123.com and the customer service rep said that she would send me another FAB Flange. A few days later I get the replacement one in the mail and guess what? I can't open the battery compartment! I think it's because both of those FAB Flanges had their bottom plate screwed in at a bit of an angle which would explain why they're impossible to unscrew enough to open! I'm thinking about calling customer service tomorrow unless someone can help me out here. Thanks.
Members ibentmywookie
hmmm, keep unscrewing it until it's as loose as possible, then take a screwdriver head to it. pry it off like a paint can lid. ...wanna send me one of them?

Members tocs100
If I couldn't open the battery plate on my FAB Metal, I'd get an AC adaptor (or at least a $10 daisy chain) before I got a refund. Fab + $30 1-spot adapter (+ even a $75 true-bypass looper)is still a steal.
Members aeonrevolution
MY Fab Distortion and Metal are utterly useless in my opinion but that is besides the point here. Just get a Godlyke and an extra daisy chain and you won't ever have this problem again.

Members Marthoyink
Just so you all know, someone's told me to use a drill to unscrew those defective ones. I've already put batteries in all my other FAB pedals, I've only had this problem with the FAB Flange.
