They're both good, and I don't see either one knocking the other off anybody's board unless they only play Pink Floyd or Pumpkins exclusively.

Real estate remains at a premium :)

those 2 clips Marc posted were my actual pedal. I sent it back cause it wasn't cutting through enough for me. My bassist is a LOUD boomy bass player, so i needed something with more cut. He was anxious to get me satisfied with the pedal, and it's awesome to see him offering the 'fm' mod for it. It was great sounding before the mod, but after it just gives it a different character.

I have clips up of the Ernie pedal on his site. It's the only fuzz I own, and it's the best fuzz I have played through (for my applications). Live, people come up after almost every show to find out what I was using for "that lead riff". I guess he isn't making Ernies anymore, but I'm so impressed with it, I am certain the rest of his pedals are top notch. He's also an amazing dude to work with. Really, really cool.

Coming soon: Ernie reissue made with Mayo transistors, with more grit and more cut than the original Ernie. I'll set up a shopping cart in the next day or so. Thanks to ElectGumbo for the name!

I've got the Screw Driver Proto #2. Awesome little pedal that has a wide range of tones from a nice raspy breaking up O/D, to down right fuzzy.
Marc responded to my e-mails about it pretty fast, which was pretty cool considering I was'nt ordering a pedal.Class act all the way.
He told me he was about to build the ?Lady and I've been Gassing since, now that i've seen the pic.3.gif
I'll keep an eye out for the ?Lady Shopping cart on your site Marc, and thanks again for the info.

I got the DAM Ramhead.

Only got Skreddy's Ernie. Great fuzz. Marc still has a bunch of my Ernie clips on his page.

It's different than the Ramhead. Ramhead is like the 1st Montrose album. Ernie has more gain/fuzz, not as tight bass, but a wild Isley fuzz, just like I wanted back then.

His new ?Lady looks interesting.

Wow! Marc, I am correct in describing the Ernie as ram's head type BM with some triangle mixed in influenced by Ernie Isley's Big Muff tone?

How does the ? Lady compare to the Mayo?
