Members preservation Posted March 28, 2006 Members Share Posted March 28, 2006 i'd be willing to trade my Burns Marquee for a nice Japanese tele or Gibson Les Paul Jr. (double or single cutaway). orville copies are fine too...otherwise i may sell it for $500 shipped in the continental USA as long as the shipping isn't over $50.then i'll just have someone pay the difference.my Marquee is the dark greenburst w/gold hardware.it has a graphite nut & bridge saddles, and gold strap locks. its set up for use w/.11gauge strings.the stock pickups sound gorgeous and well balanced, a very warm and resonant guitar.there's a full-size black vintage-style rectangle case for it. i could probably take photos over the weekend. Burns has stopped making this guitar, so... so there !this guitar kills any american strat i've ever played, with a wider tonal range - thats probably whats most remarkable about the guitar. bought it from www.myrareguitars.com back in early fall - i've been the only owner.i just don't really use this puppy and since i have my tele, i'm willing to try something different just for kicks.if i sell it, i'll be WAY closer to building my custom Flying V Baritone. : )it looks just like the one in the middle there...
