Members riffpowers
Hi guysBoth these wahs have similar features....what I want to know is, what kind of a volume boost can you get out of the RMC2??I know the dunlop has a decent boost, but I don't know about the RMC2.Does it give a volume boost at all, and if it does is it enough to cut through for a screamin' wah solo??!! Members endo23
It does give a volume boost, though I usually run it before my compressor so I can't tell you how MUCH of a boost. However, Geoffrey Teese is very good about answering emails and could tell you the specifics. Hit him at his website.
Members BillW
You won't notice any volume boost that much on dirtier channels. Cleans will really spike though ...of course it all depends on pick ups etc., also ...but typically dirty channels will compress the input signal more so the volume boost will be effectively attenuated
Members nutsack
I use the RMC2 and run the volume just over halfway up and it cuts through no problem, and I mainly use it with dirt. One thing though, the more volume boost you use, the less high end you get out of the wah.
