Members DylanWilde
I have an old DOD FX40B Overdrive Plus that is now picking up slight radio signals when we practice , and I don't think it did this before I returned about a week ago with a new handmade pedal board that I have been using, and its only wood, carpet, staples, and screws, and I have been using, in this order, Crybaby 535QDOD OverdriveDanelectro DanEchoKorg GT 12 tuner I also had my amp fixed, with new tubes and new tinsel springs in the speaker installed. I checked and it seems to be picking up slight radio now when we practice in the dorm room across the hall. Honestly its not a huge deal, its not terribly loud or noticeable, but I was wondering if any of you guys might have a hunch as to what the deal might be. Members erik92da
ALL of my tube amps (and solid states too) would pick up the radio station near my buddies house. I doubt its the pedal itself thats the problem. Just the effect of having a stronger signal when its engaged. The radio station gets louder if you turn up the gain on the amp right? Turning up the volume doesnt make a difference?
