Members rhino bucket Posted March 30, 2006 Members Share Posted March 30, 2006 what are the pros and cons of running DELAY before or after a noisegate in the amp's fx loop? just got a Foxrox TZF flanger, so finally got off my ass and started trying stuff in the loop of my triple rectifier. so for now wanting to run the TZF, a ISP decimator, and my Ibanez AD99. Members ode2no1 Posted March 30, 2006 Members Share Posted March 30, 2006 after would be better cause then the gate wont affect the repeats of the delay....whereas if you ran the delay before the gate and ended a song with the delay on...the gate would eventually cut off the repeats depending on how you set it.
