Members sstim8or
It turned out to be a 1969 Sunn Sorada, with what Marin Timmy tells me is a Sunn 200S cabinet, as evidenced by the JBLs pictured below. Where I would describe my Mayfly as a pretty sounding amp, this Sunn is just pure rock on a stick. It's very clean, with bell-like highs, and low end that makes your guts hurt. It's stupid loud, and does get the tiniest bit of grit when you push. It's a real pants-flapper. Check out the point-to-point wiring! I couldn't be more stoked about this. Oh yeah, $250 and 2 hours of driving.

Members Sir H C
If you crank it you should be able to get the Mississippi Queen sound as that was Sunn amps. Those things are killer, and the bass cab is worth well more than you paid! Great score. Only odd thing is I don't think the mirror plexi on the front is original, but who cares it is cool. Here's an interesting auction for reference.
