Members yjsays
I was curious how everyone manages to control their sound levels. When ever I turn on a different stomp box, I get too much volume and I have to turn down my volume fast, and sometimes this isn't possible so I don't bother to change the effects... So how do you control sound levels?
Members fusionid
all my stomp boxes have a level knobsome effects units dont have level control when engaged but i dealt with it by placing them on the effects loop which in my amp has a level control to match. Members raggydoll
yeah, anything like distortion or compressors etc will have a level knob. phasers and trme etc shouldn't be a problem.
Members zinzin
it's better to adjust the level for each stompbox to your needs and then leave it like that. doing so you will not be surprised by the volume each time you step on it. just set it once with care to your needs and leave it. if you are using different amps and guitars with your pedals which need different volumes, it's better to note on a chart the different settings and stick it on the pedals.
