Members mightysasquatch
I think I'm gonna trade my Lovepedal Magicboy. I love it, but the fact that it only takes batteries is killing me at gigs. I don't wanna mod it for AC power and possibly damage it, so I think it's time for something new......... I am running a Fender American Series Ash Telecaster straight into a Mesa/Boogie Nomad 45 1x12 combo. I have been usingthe Magicboy in my amps FX loop. Looking for a phaser, univibe/leslie, or tremolo pedal, something warm and spinny. Not really into chorus or flangers. Suggestions? I've been looking at: Fulltone Mini Deja VibeSweet Sound Mojo VibeCatalinbread Semaphore I'm only using one pedal live, so I want it to be a nice one, and it has to like single coil guitars ......... Members Arjae
Maybe the Build Your Own Clone prebuilt Phase Royal? Check out the thread on it on The Gear page. Fatback did a really nice video demo of it. It has a switch to turn it into a vibe which is cool. Really versatile. Pricey though. $199 right now. Price keeps going up. You can pick the color and LED color. Not sure on the wait time.

Members Kelly
Fulltone Choralflange. I never liked chorus until I tried this thing out. Also does a pretty good vibe and leslie.
Members inscho
isnt there some kind of adapter that you can hook to a battery plug that converts it to accept a regular power supply? that would be the easiest option and wouldn't do any actual damage to the pedal. Members Soulgolem
Well, I'd say avoid the Boss CE-5, I have two and really don't like them, they fit the bill where chorus is needed by I've heard better, the best I've heard so far is the replica of the CE-1 by Retro-sonic. Check out the clips on their website Retro-Sonic Francis.
Members BmoreTele
I have many modulation pedals but I'm currently down to two - the Cusack Tap-a-Whirl and the Sweet MoFaux. If I had to go with just one it would be the MoFaux. It's that good. And it takes a standard Boss style power supply. But that's just me.
