Members sense_of_henry
Does anyone use this EQ? The description sounds good although I have read bad things about its usability. Having the ability to program 9 preset EQs would be great but is this pedal really all that great? Any input/opinion would be great, I think that a new EQ is what I will be getting next. I have heard great things about the MXR 10-band which I would like, but there is something enticing about being able to preprogram different levels and switch between them. Members PeelingPaint98
I really like the eq-20, the down side of it is unless it's modified there is only 2 foot selectable choices as the other 8 programed setting are only available by a little button. I use it in the effects loop so I can't give any opinion on bypass noise. I really notice a difference on the presets effecting the signal after distortion, really opens up sonic options. I haven't done it yet but I plan on sending this to Analog Mike to have it modded so presets can be cycled through by foot.
Members sense_of_henry
Thanks for the reply, I went to Analog Mike's website to check things out. This mod sounds like the way to go. Can he TB it as well?

Members Feghead
I can't notice any tonal difference between my eq-20 in a true bypass or straight in front.....so its not a tonesucker IMHO
