Members came2play
Hey guys, I have a pedal up on Ebay right now. Usually all my auctions are PayPal only but I got a request from somebody back east, asking if I would take a money order. I haven't taken them before so I'm not up on the pro's & con's of it. Is there much of a risk with accepting money orders? Do they have to "clear", like a check? The guy has 100% positive feedback. Can anyone give me some info on accepting M/O's? Members Lensrock
Its best to accept US Postal Money orders as it covers both of your asses.
Members MrSage
Tell him you'll accept a US Postal Service money order. Those are harder to fake than grocery store or Western Union MOs. When you get it, it's already "cleared" (since they already paid for it up front). Just endorse the back and deposit it into your bank account...you get 100% of the funds right away (well, as soon as your bank processes the deposit).
