Members Wesbert
Hi, im thinking about buying a Lexicon MX-200 rack reverb and im trying to find out if it has a bypass. Even better a bypass footswitch too. Anyone know?
Members Karma1
Yes, it does have a bypass. In fact it has two. Because it's a dual fx processor, each processor has it's own designated bypass button. There is also a jack in the back for a footswitch that can be used for independent bypass of the processors. I've had an MX200 for a couple months and it's a great unit - especially for the price.
Members Wesbert
Thanks for the reply ! Did you get a footswitch with it ? Or do you know what model number i should look for if im to get one for it ?
Members Karma1
It doesn't come with a footswitch, and I haven't needed to use one with it since I mostly use it in the studio. But according to the manual the one Lexicon makes is: LEX-DFS. Or they say you can use a 2-button footswitch wired as follows:Tip = Bypass 2Ring = Bypass 1Sleeve = Ground
