No, unfortunately its a clone. I does have a built 350 in it though. Its fast enough for me :D

Plus most of the SS parts are from a real 1970 SS.

Does that 5.0 on the side mean 'five litre'?

My brother used to love those old 5.0s. He worked at a car shop in high school and always said he wanted one of those to trick out. He drove an '83 Camaro, which was an absolute beast.

I do not remember this post looking for haters.

After all of the engine mods the car still gets 15 miles to the gallon.

A man has to relax after a hard day of work :D:cool:

Thanks :) We take it out whenever we can. This past weekend we went exploring along the WI/IL border and found lots of cool little towns. I have it out today, but only because I need to get to a paint shop on my way home from work. Sadly, it doesn't look like that picture right now. Last year a guy hit me with an F150 and tore up the front end. The guy who fixed it and painted it did a horrible job...it's now two-tone. So I'm trying to find a good paint shop to fix this mess. Here's a pic of the carnage from last year:

Very depressing stuff. The fenders were pushed back in to the doors, the radiator core support was bent, the whole front end (as you can tell) was shot. The bumper was caught on the guy's trailer hitch, and it took a long time to seperate the two vehicles. Oh, well...
