Members houseofglass21
In order of the best... Elephant is the overall strongest album of his. White Blood Cells a close second then the self titled debut 3rd. Get Behind Me Satan a distant 4th and De Stijl last.
Members Brian Marshall
i thought white blood cells and the self titled were the best elephant was a dissappointment, and ive never actually listened to get behind me satan.
Members ChitownTerror
Get Behind Me Satan is great, as long as you don't expect a rock record. Lots of pianos and marimbas. One of their better records, IMO. My order: Elephant White Blood Cells Get Behind me Satan De Stijl S/T Their live DVD Under Blackpool Lights is pretty good too. Members SpectralJulian
Get White Blood Cells, but definitely check out the first 2 as well. I don't care for Elephant/Get Behind me Satan as much.
Members DylanWilde
Get the live DVD, and then go from there. I would probably recommend Elephant first, and then White Blood Cells, and the First album. Those are not necessarily the best three, but they are the defining albums, and along with the DVD, will give you a strong sense of what Jack White is about. Oh, and don't listen to anybody who says he is a bad musician. He's very gifted as both an instrumentalist and a creative songwriter, probably one of the best rock songwriters out there right now.
