Members fuzzer
I am interested in a book to get me started in effect pedal engineering. My old physics book is a tad daunting and a bit theoretical. Can't seem to locate any on Amazon. The book doesn't have to be guitar effect oriented but should cover solid state sound processing quickly yet thoroughly enough to get underway. Alternately I welcome website pointers. Thanks. Members Robert Keeley
First you MUST Get Jack's book listed above....then for wink at a fellow Edmond, OK engineer....PAIA is a also a good place...Jacks is better for building and understanding you own effects and will be more educational with many more ideas to apply directly to guitar....a little more modern as well. GET THE AMZ BOOK AND CD!!!!!! You will not regret it..RK

Members alteredsounds
You dont need a book, all the info x 1000 is on http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/ with loadsa cool people who can help with probs. Books are very limited in comparison. If you are really interested in doing it, learn some basics from somewhere like http://www.onesmartclick.com/engineering/basic-electronics-engineering.html
