Members pboudreau
I want to buy CD's where the Mosrite is used heavily. I know the obvious ones are Davie Allan and the arrows, Iron Butterfly, Spirit (thats what I've heard) Any other bands/songs. I hear San Francisco Psych bands favored them, but no details. I also read Hendrix used it on some songs
Members Wyatt
I believe that was the Strawberry Alarm Clock fuzz, but am not positive. I have one somewhere, really ganrly tone, not very musical IMHO, I prefer the Maestro FZ-1A which at least gives a little sustain.
Members pboudreau
The reissue Maestro FZ1A is next on my list. I love that spitty "brick wall" fuzz. I gravitate towards the fuzz sounds that tone purists would turn up their nose at.
Members Sir H C
Be sure to check out the Shin-ei/Companion/Jax FY-2 for the spitting fuzz from hell.
