Members XXTwighlight
Can a Fulldrive be modded to be a bit brighter and can a volume be added to the boost channel?Or can the volume be boosted a bit, permanently, without a vol. knob on the boost channel? Would any of this affect the overall tone?Who can do the mods? Thanx- Robert
Members freeridstylee
Anything can be modded! I'm sure a cap change here or there would get you brighter, and i'm sure lowering the resistance going into the transistor (assuming it's transistor based) would give u more volume. I don't know anything about the pedal though, or who would do it.
Members knspilka
The boost channel isn't really a boost channel, it's a second gain pot added in series. For a gain boost what you could do, if you were willing to lose the gain boost led, would be to put a little booster circuit in there like an lpb-1, and switch in the pot and the booster by replacing the switch with a 3pdt, and then bypassing when the gain channel isn't in use. If you made some kind of millenium bypass, you could retain the led. Or, just buy a diamond j-drive with independent drive and boost channels
