when the pedal is engaged and you're running totally clean into the deja vibe... do you get any clipping/static when you hit the guitar medium hard?

I think mine is screwy. I just got it. let me know. please.

I can't imagine this being normal, though. if you play clean thru it and hit a power chord, it fuzzes out for the first half-second. I can't believe that this is just how the thing works...

anyone else? I'm dying to know...

I have never understood the need for so much output from a pickup that you can a) distort the input on pedals and b) run a set of headhones off 'em.

Get some real (normal) pickups?

I use a Strat, idiot.

there is definitely something going on with your DejaVibe! i just got mine a few days ago and after reading your post i checked mine out for the same symptom. i played a Les Paul standard w/Burstbuckers and a L.P. Studio with RIOS(TEXAS&BBQ), also Fender Deluxe Strat. w/ samarium cobalt noiseless. the Deja never overloaded at the input. hope you get it worked out soon! i know how it feels to order a pedal and hankering for it and it arrive D-O-A!
