Our ways are not their ways, but we welcome them with open arms and hot coffee, and we've hung bunting and hidden the Metal Zones from view. God help any TGPers who stumble into the amp forum though. Hm... maybe I'll drop by and start a Germino vs. Roccaforte thread... or an OMG BRUNO MESSY WIRING (POSSIBLY FAKE)... I know it's OT, but Robben Ford is playing a couple of sets on Monday night. I'll try to sneak a peek at his Zendrive settings (and Mike Landau's COT!) and post for discussion and analysis on Tuesday.

Absolutely smokin', very laid back set, and an astonishing bargain at ten bucks cover. No Zendrive in the house. Ford played goldtop > dumble, Landau Suhr strat > CAA.Attn corksniffers: Landau repped the COT50, set around 1:30 Next Monday is Landau's night, then Ford again the week after. If you're in the LA area, what better plans do you have for a Monday night?
Members shepherdspy
That sounds neat. I guess it's one of the real perks of living out there. For ten bucks on a Monday night, shoot, I would definitely be there. There is always a lot of Henderson and Landau talk on the Huge Racks Inc site. I don't know if you ever go over there, but it's cool in small doses.

Members utterhack
Welcome fatbackribs! Hope you'll stick around - on those rare occasions when the smell of freshly-pulled cork grows overpowering, there's nothing like a whiff of stale beer to clear the head. The world needs both kinds of Gear board: country AND western.
Members fatbackribs
I hear ya. Now if we can just get a "weekend bisquits and gravy" thread going I'll really be right at home. (stomache grumbling...) time for a samich!

Members utterhack
If I were in your shoes I'd just give Paul C a call and get in line at the extraordinarily reasonable retail price. You've got enough drive boxes to tide you over, and it'll give you time to recharge the ol' financial batteries.
