Members Morning Glory
Mr Frusciante uses a USA Big Muff for fuzz, and usually paired up with a Boss DS-
Members Gearhunter
He has several fuzz options, he's a definate tweaker with plenty of disposable income.I've read he's been using the {censored} out of a Fuzz Factory. I copped this pic from Zvex's site,he has a Fuzz Factory on the right board along with a Big muff, and on the left is either a Mammoth or another Fuzz Factory. Members english_bob
I saw the Chilis on TV a few weeks ago. Frusciante's pedalboard is stupid. It's bigger than he is
Members plinky
I'm fairly sure its 2 Fuzz Factories and not a Mammoth. I read a lot about Frusciante and I've never heard about him using a Wooly Mammouth.

Members Morning Glory
^He probably wouldn't be as great as he is now if he didn't do the drugs in the mid 90's.

Yeah, in most of the interviews he uses says he "decided" to become a heroin addict. Has anyone head the dtuff he did while he was an "addict" an album he made called "smile" (i think) It was all whacked out.

I don't know what ablum it was, but there was one that had a line like "your {censored} is glued to a building that's on fire." I'm not making that up, neither is Papa Taco. As briliant as that line may or may not be, it put me off of checking out his other solo stuff. Anyone know what record that was? Why do I suddenly feel very alone???? Smile From The Streets You Hold is a very beautiful yet disturbing album, has anyone heard the song Smile From The Streets You Hold? It's a really good song.Has anyone noticed the sheer amout of backwards guitar John uses in the drug days?
Members titovanburen
sweet video thanks for sharingIn the new GW issue he says he uses the english muff'n I believe.
Members titovanburen
I borrowed the "smile from the streets" cd from the library and I thought it was wierd, I was listening to it sober and kind of with a closed mind. But I believe his greatest quality is his sincerity in his music.

Members Lanefair
I've said this before somewhere, but theres a performance of Under the Bridge on Saturday Night Live on the internet somewhere, and it's the most insane performance I've ever seen. John is messing up his playing and screaming and stuff.
Members Morning Glory
^I've seen that, it was right before John left the band, that's when he was spiralling downwards, and just generally drugged up.
