Members nic_2090
I'm looking to get a Queensryche Operation: Mindcrime tone out of a distortion pedal. It's sounds very Marshally. Fuzzy rhythm tone, tight lead tones, high-gain, ect. I've considered maybe a Rocktron Silver Dragom. If it helps, I play an Epiphone les Paul and a Traynor YCV50. Members tnttnttnt
I don't think that the silver dragon is right for the case. I believe that the Line 6 uber metal is much more appropriate. More high tech/high gain sound, plus it's a noise gate . It doesn't fit my style of playing, but for QR stuff I think it's great. Combine it with a Boss delay for the leads and you're all set. Although, I do have a Traynor YCV50. I also don't have the cash for a Tubescreamer (at least, not a TS808). Although, i already own a Boss SD1.
