Members Locky
Chris Cornells vocals were pretty rough. I think he totally shot his voice from recording and touring their first two albums.
Members zachary vex
hell yeah, he came out of the gate pretty weak, but he sealed the deal on the second track. the design of the guitar parts was mind-blowing. great use of effects. the rhythm section, well, nothing more needs be said. Members Locky
vocally Burden in my Hand actually sounded better to me then on the cd. Alot rawer, and he changed the vocal melodies a bit for the better.

Members Janglin_Jack
Zach, Funny you posted this as I just have been listening to Superunknown for the last few days. I have also been trying to convince the band to play Pretty Noose as a cover. I am not sure our singer can do it, but so what. I remember watching them on SNL to see them play a few tunes. WHAT A GREAT BAND. What ever happened to Kim Thayl (sp?) Jack
Members Seth Carmody
Kim Thayil was my guitar hero when I was 14. He said in an interview with some magizine 'don't get lessons, you'll just sound like your teacher', so I never did. Thanks Kim

Members TheAtomicJeff
The 90's and Soundgarden? With the exception of a couple of songs and a couple of other bands - you can have them.

Members pope251
Tnank's bud, I remember seeing this performance on SNL. This band did rock, saw them open for GNR, shame the roles were not reversed. Best band to come out of Seattle back in the day.
Members hempathy
The early nineties was the last great time for rock music. It was a very exciting time, I am still discovering bands from the early nineties. Just so many great bands around then.... Kyuss, Tool, Soundgarden, Nirvana and Pearl jam to name a few. Members utterhack
Here's the good news: once we work through the current "influences include Joy Division/Cure blah blah" vogue, the 90s will be back soon enough. The catch: the bands will be prefab, will either suck or have one catchy single, and we will hate them. History repeats itself: the first time as tragedy, the second time as crass, opportunistic music-biz product in the form of disposable boys with guitars. EDIT: Having watched the vids, I must say I find it comforting that CC can't hit those notes live any better than I can. Human after all...
