Members ChitownTerror
I don't know the conversion rate for pounds, but they're going for well above $250 here, I think. Suffice to say, you can make a pretty penny on them.
Members Toasted
Thank you. Any rise on a silver screw MIJ dm-2 on $250?
Members Speeddemon
Silver screw DM-2 is a hoax. The DM-2 wasn't made in '77-'80, the only years that Boss pedals had a silver screw. The guy most likely switched the screw from a common DS-1 or CE-2 to a DM-2. Perhaps Big Boss Man or other Boss aficionado's can back me up on this here. Members Toasted
So that indicates that the latest a DM-2 could be made is 1980, but they didn't start using silver screws until 1981? So this means that my pedal may have a silver screw, but all that means is that its just a non-original screw. Correct?
Members Speeddemon
No, The production of DM-2's started probably late 1980, early 1981. But only pedals made between '77 and '80 or so have silverscrews. as far as I know these are the ones that have silver-screw versions: SD-1 DS-1 SP-1 SG-1 OD-1 PH-1 PH-1r GE-6 TW-1 CS-1 CE-2 and MAYBE the NF-1, but I never saw one with a silverscrew. Usually when they have a silverscrew, the font used for the pedal's name is different as well. A bold capital + thin letters. And the dash between the 2 letters for the type and the number is usually longer then. silverscrew, thin font, long dash: regular font, black plastic screw, short dash:

I've seen a couple of NF-1s with the silver screw. Are you sure about the SD-1?
